נָקַז

נָקַז(cmp. קְזַז a. נָקַד I) to puncture. Hif. הִקִּיז (mostly with דָּם) to let blood; to be bled. Bekh.V, 2 אין מַקִּיזִין לו דם you must not bleed it; יַקִּיז one may Sabb.129a ה׳ דם ונצטנן if one feels chilly after having been bled. Ib. b ה׳ דם ועמד if one stands up after Ab. Zar.29a.
